Very nice Kentucky straight bourbon from Woodford Reserve. The one we tried was from batch 148 and bottle 519. It almost has the color of floating honey and when it put my nose to it I can feel some honey and spices with a hint of vanilla. When it hits my tongue there are notes of rye mixed with a sweet taste. But after a while I can taste some spices and ginger. The finish stays with you for a while and is mature and spicy.
Overall I think it is good and very price worthy and you will get a lot for your money. This bourbon is from their standard range and it has won a lot of awards from “1999 international Spirits challenge: Best in Class, Borubon” and “2014 Whisks of the World Awards: Gold Medal”
