The Good Gringo (Kungstensgatan 14)

So, I got invited to try out The Good Gringo on Thursday before they open their new place. The back story of the The Good Gringo is that it started off as a food truck in 2015 and two years later they open a restaurant on Scheelegatan in Kungsholmen. And now a year after that it is time to grow some more and now they open a restaurant at Kungstensgatan in Vasastan.

We got started with some nachos and guacamole that you can get as a starter, but we also got to try out a fish nachos that are not on the menu yet but soon will be.

After that it was time for the main thing and I tried the burrito Carnitas “Gringo” Style that contains 15 hours slow smoked Swedish pork, cilantro lime rice, black beans, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, corn salsa, sour cream and “Gringo Crack Sauce”. It was really good and you really get a lot of food for you money here.

When you order at The Good Gringo you can either get your order as a burrito or you can get in a in bowl as a gluten free option.

The place is not that big, it has about 12 places for you to sit down and eat but the food is very hand as a takeout, so you don’t have to sit there and eat it.

Adress: Kungstensgatan 14, 113 57 Stockholm
