Recipe for six portions of Tabouli
Tabouli salad recipe with parsley, mint, bulgur wheat and more
Servings: 6 people
- 500 g large bundle of parsely
- 3 tomatoes
- 2-3 green onions
- 0.5 dl finely ground bulgur
- 2 tbps dry mint
- 2-3 lemons Depending on how sour you want your salad
- 0.5 dl olive oil
- Wash all vegetables carefully, especially the parsley which may contain grains of sand.
Mince everything and let drain in a sieve for a while. Put everything in a
large bowl and mix. Taste it to see how salt / sour you want it. Bulgur should not be soaked, otherwise you will get a watery salad. The vegetables
that are in the salad, especially the parsley and the tomatoes, contain a lot
of liquid and the bulgur will absorb it and swell up. Plus, you add lemon and
olive oil. Leave for about 5-6 minutes after mixing.Mix some and serve with salad leaves and something good next to it!
TIP! You can add a little finely chopped iceberg lettuce in the taboulin.
