L’Avventura is a good Italian restaurant in Stockholm where I have been once before but at a press event. After that I have always wanted to go back to try it out for real with the things they have on the menu and not the press menu that was at the event. First of the location of this restaurant is fairly central in Stockholm and the décor and furnishing for this restaurant is of high standard I would say.

And one other thing they have managed very well is something that I highly value when I go out to eat with friends and that is that even when the restaurant was almost full it was easy to have a conversation without the restaurant being to noise.

We got our food quick during the evening and the service had a good standard. When it comes to the food I had arancine made from truffle and mushroom risotto as a starter and then went on to have the truffle pappardelle maid of truffle, cep mushroom, parsley and parmigiano Reggiano as my main course.

I ended the evening with some ice cream for dessert and it was a perfect ending on a great dinner.

The man behind the restaurant is Karl Ljung and he was in the restaurant at the time we where there and he invited us to check out an art installation hosted in L’Avventura studio by Anders Dahlbom and Yvette Wettergren who paints together.
