Blue by KLM

I got to try out Blue By KLM at the end of November when I was invited by KLM to there grand opening of there new Crown Lounge. The chef behind the menu is Joris Bijdendijk that also runs the Michelin stared restaurant RIJKS.

You can find the restaurant at the 2nd floor in the Non-Schengen Corwn Lounge, in the Sky area. And it is open from 07:00 to 22:00 every day of the week.

They have a lot of things on the menu so everyone will find something that you like and if you can´t pick what you want you can always go with the Chef´s surprise-menu where you can chose to get served 2, 3 or 4 courses depending on how hungry you are.

We got to try Mackerel with Willem´s Wermoed dressing, Kohlrabi and emulsion of horseradish.

Then some Pumpkin with codium cream, puffed quinoa and beurre blanc of fermented pumpkin.

And Veal cheek with parsnip cream.

And we ended it with a cheese platter and some doughnuts.

The food and the service were great.
