Mathias Dahlgren Matsalen opened 2007 and has now two stars in Guide Michelin. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Stockholm. When we got to the restaurant we started off with a glass of champagne and then got shown into the kitchen. Already here we got to try some very tasty dishes.
Then we got to our table and we picked what we wanted to drink for the dinner. This restaurant has a set menu and you can add a drink package where they will match the wine with what they will serve. But if you want to you can also order whatever wine you want. After that the fun really started when they served us dish after dish with delicious food. I wasn´t served anything I didn´t like. The service was great thru out the whole dinner from start to finish and the setting was super nice. The whole restaurant has the feel of fine dining all the way thru.
Update:
The restaurant is now closed but Mathias Dahlgren has open a new restaurant at the same spot called Rutabaga but I haven´t tried it out yet.
